Pemodelan dan Simulasi Weight Feeder Clinker Di Finish Mill Area II-41 PT. Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. [Suatu Studi Kasus]

Abstract


Modelling means changing real world systems into mathematial equations. Modelling also has the meaning as an action to repeat process behavior as an event to understand them. Those things can be done by making any physically relations from the real system by using any natural laws such as physics and / or chemistry. Dynamic system respon can be gotten if only that equation can be obtained by finding the solution of the differentian equations. There are many methods to find the solution of system's differential equation, such as use Laplace Transform method or state space method.

This paper explains about modelling and simulation of a physical system: a weight feeder clinker at PT. Semen Gresik (persero), Tbk. After mathematical models every sub-systems can be obtained, the next step was to determine overall system's mathematical models. The next step was to simulate system performance by using software: Simulink from Matlab. From the simulation result, it was obtained conclusion that weight feeder's open loop responce had great steady state error. Therefore an automatic controller was needed to control this plant.


Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia :

Pemodelan (modelling) berarti mengubah sistem dalam dunia nyata (real world) menjadi bentuk persamaan matematika. Modelling juga dapat diartikan sebagai usaha menirukan kelakuan proses "real world system" dalam usaha untuk memahaminya. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan menyusun hubungan-hubungan fisik dari sistem sesungguhnya dengan menggunakan hukum-hukum ilmu alam (fisika dan / atau kimia). Tanggapan sistem dinamik dapat diperoleh, jika persamaan differensial tersebut dicari solusinya. Banyak metode untuk mencari solusi persamaan differensial sistem , misalnya dengan menggunakan metode Transformasi Laplace atau metode ruang keadaan (state space).

Makalah ini menjelaskan tentang pemodelan dan simulasi sistem fisik yaitu weight feeder clinker yang ada di Finish Mill area II-41 PT. Semen Gresik (Persero), Tbk. Setelah model matematika tiap-tiap sub-sistem diturunkan, dilakukan penyusunan model sistem keseluruhan. Langkah selanjutnya adalah simulasi sistem dengan menggunakan program Simulink dari Matlab. Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa respon loop terbuka weigth feeder mempunyai kesalahan keadaan tunak (error steady state) yang besar. Karenanya diperlukan kerja kontroller automatik untuk mengendalikan plant tersebut.
